I think it depends on how many locations. Our was about 3 hours, but we did 2 outfits in 3 locations (all within walkng distance). It depends on your photographer, and ours had a lot of lighting equipment, so took time to set up.
We just took engagement pics on Monday and our shoot took about 2.5 to 3 hours. We had all of these plans for different locations and outfits, but we ended up staying in one place (a local park) and didn't change our outfits. It also took some time to set up equipment and move it around. I felt it was more than enough time to get what we wanted.
