My friend did engagement pics in the late fall (no snow, but cold enough to need a coat) so she wore a beautiful red jacket and purple scarf in half of the shots and a light pink coat and pink heels in the other half - I kept telling her how much the color of her coat made the pictures stand out when there wasn't much greenery outside!
Do you have any colorful, printed, or bold coats you could wear?
@Mrs. Fireworks: Thanks for the help- I do but they aren't that cute looking boo. They are more like snowboarding jackets. I might run to the store in the morning and see if I can find anything for not too much $. I saw this great pic online with a girl in a bright yellow coat.
Dont wear white because that doesn't photograph well. I also think picking something classic would be your best bet, because when you look back on these photos for years to come you want to have something that will stay relatively in style. Pick something you love, that you feel comfortable and attractive in!

Hi Ladies,
I could really use some help with this. A friend of ours (who is an actual photographer) will be taking our engagement photo's. We had wanted to get some snowy shots in Boston for this and it snowed this weekend! Yay. We would have done it today but we were off snowboarding. Anyway- it's very last minute but I can't figure out what I should be wearing. FI thinks we should just wear some sweater- anyone have an idea what color I should be wearing or if I should wear a coat?
