I love our engagement photos.  I did not get them in time for the STDs but we used them to make guestbook.

@monicab922:  I used them as puzzle piece escort cards.  Once our guests got to the table, they could complete the puzzle on the cover of our table number guestbooks.

Here are some of the shots I used

We received our engagement photos about a month ago.  We’re mainly using them for STD’s and a photo guestbook (which we ordered through Shutterfly).

We’re using this one for our save-the-dates:

Here are some other favorites:

We had a friend with a nice camera take a bunch of pics while on a backpacking trip, and then I photoshopped them together for our save the date postcard.  Not very traditional “engagement photos” but very us!  Here’s the postcard:

We used one for our STDs and then have others displayed around the house (soon to be replaced by wedding photos – if they EVER come!).

Here are a couple…

Engagement photos were a preferred part of our photography package. Our photographer uses it to get to know us and get us more comfortable in front of the camera. He also uses it to get to know our stylistic preferences because he tailors the way he shoots to each couple. We used one of the photos for our save the dates, we get another as an 8X11 print as part of the package, and our package also includes a guestbook that our photographer is putting together for us.

Here’s a few of our favorite photos (we used the color version of the last one as our STD)

We used 2 of ours in the invitation for our small ceremony.

We also printed off a number of them just to have. It’s not often I get my SO to smile pretty for the camera so I had to take advantage 😛

I used them to make a calendar for work one year, for our rehearsal dinner invitations, for our wedding favor (a cookbook we made), for our guest “book” (a framed photo where guests signed the photo mat), for the rehearsal dinner table numbers, and they are loaded on my digital photo frame at work. Eventually I’ll frame some for around the house, too.
