Hey everyone, my fiance and I will be having our engagement photo shoot this coming June and we are still unable to pin down a location. We have played around with possibly Malibu or Long Beach. We want a beach/naturey theme and cant pick.

Any other creative options?

Have you been to the Huntington Library in Padasdena? They have gardens form around the world- its were they filmed memiors of giesha- its truly breath taking BUT I'm not sure what the photography policy is... ALSO theres a weird hole-in-a-hill place in malibu called the Lake Shrine Temple http://www.lakeshrine.org/ its really beautiful though!

Hello!

Check out this thread. Someone already posted this. This might help. I also take landscape pictures and I took some in Long Beach. It is in there to give you ideas. Creativity and the angle is important. San Pedro by the Korean Bell is nice too!

Good call on the Huntington Library :) I'm currently searching for the perfect location and I appreciate the ideas. I had the crazy idea to talk with a location scout for photo shoot locations, for movies and stuff. Right now, our primary choice is a beach house they set us up with, in Malibu.
