My husband is so proud of my engagement ring (it is identical to the picture I sent him way back when). We’ve been married nearly two years, but 3 weeks ago I lost my ring. It’s nowhere to be found. My original ring was outrageous expensive for a Marine and we can’t just go buy another. It’s driving me crazy only wearing my wedding band (which I love) I’m wondering if there are any other reasonably priced options. I love the idea of a colored gem (like pink or yellow) but I’m at a loss of where to even start looking. Do y’all have any ideas, or even photos of your “nontraditional” ring?
thanks so much

You could go with a colored or clear gemstone, it really depends on your style. There are a bunch on Etsy or Ebay!

How about a yellow sapphire?

Do you want it to look like your original ering? If so, post a pic and we can make some suggestions. Also, what’s your budget?
http://www.gemvara.com is a great site for coloured gem erings, and it’s moderately priced.
http://www.moissaniteco.com has gorgeous bridal jewelery, a little more expensive, but still much less than diamonds.
http://www.berricle.com is good for lower-priced CZ replica rings, so is http://www.inspiredsilver.com

I take it the ring wasn’t insured? If it was, they will send you a check.

My RHR from Samuels. My total was about $200.
It’s my birthstone for November. Diamonds in the halo.
