Wow, it sure does sound as if you are really frustrated. I’m sorry you’re feeling so upset! Men are odd little creatures, and if he doesn’t see this friend very often, he may be grappling with his old identity vs. the man he is with you, and how to integrate the best of both worlds. Can you be more specific in the way your boyfriend’s friend has been disrespectful of you? It might help other bees to advise you if they were more acquainted with your situation.

I would move out. I would refuse to live in hostility like that. Sorry if that seems extreme.

I don’t know all the details but I’m assuming it’s an old friend of his and so maybe he has gone back to being 16 or something and boyish instead of behaving like the grown man he should be. When old friends come back, people tend to slip back to who they used to be and forget that they are different people now. I don’t think this is a deal breaker, but I do think you need to discuss with your boyfriend and remind him that he isn’t 16/a child anymore and he needs to show you more respect, especially in front of his dumb ass friends.

Sorry it’s been a rough week for you though.

@lalalyanne:  You should show him what you just wrote. It’s well written and really expresses how you are feeling right now.

@lalalyanne:  Oh, you did need to vent. Geez! I’m sorry you’re having such a let-down moment right now. You really do need to have a talk with that man and make sure you make it clear just how unacceptable his behavior was. You shouldn’t be made to feel that way. I hope he can see the light before it’s too late.

@lalalyanne:  If I were you, I wouldnt let that pig stay in my home a minute longer. Id explain the rules to him and if he stepped one toe out of line, his shit would be on the grass and his butt would be sitting next to it. If he didnt go quietly, I’d call the cops on him and his cocaine addiction (Provided he brought some).

good luck!! Like my mom always said, “You cant count on anyone but yourself.” Be your own defender.

@lalalyanne:  Yeah that does stink. Its certainly something to consider. I feel like this has caused you to lose trust in him. Definitely have a heart to heart!
