I don't live up there but evidently it's headed this way Thursday (roll eyes!!) this is insane and why we are definitely looking for an indoor venue for our December wedding I pray that the weather is okay!!!
Well, I don't live on the East Coast, but it's been a bit snowy and FREEZING cold, so I'm pretty over winter. Most of the time I can tolerate it, but not this year!
Yeah, mother nature is just dumping her hatred on Philly right now :( I'm sick of all the dirty slush!
Yay snow day from work tomorrow though :) for me at least...
Still have class tomorrow :(
DAMN YOU COLLEGE WHERE ALL PROFESSORS LIVE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.
@venanglam - I'm surprised you have class! My sister goes to LaSalle which is private and they even closed! If I were you, I would study from home and make my own snow day.... Give a big finger in the air to Miss mother nature.... I'm sorry hive... DID I MENTION I DESPISE SNOW!!!! Y do I live on the east coast again?
im not from philadelphia but i live close... here in mass we are getting ready for the new storm... i looking ugly
I'm pretty excited about a work-from-home day tomorrow myself. I love the snow... I'm sure I'm the minority right about now but I can't help it! I just can't ever get enough.
Ha, I go to a private college as well (I'm actually in the 'burbs), where 98% of students live on campus and about 90% of professors live in the town that surrounds the school. Classes are small, so it's a MAJOR deal when you miss; everyone notices including the prof. :/ I am taking a class at UPenn this semester, though, and I haven't gotten an email saying our class tomorrow is canceled yet! Annoying.
(I have a friend at LaSalle btw, she loves it!)
i'm near boston, and the snow we're getting this winter is pathetic. Send some our way!!
I can't go to class because half the roads in my area are drifted shut. As in, six foot high walls of snow that block the entire road and are impossible to move with regular snow plows. But they're still holding classes tomorrow. Blargh.
I've had enough of the snow...I'm ready for spring! I work at a hospital so we get no snow days and it's not fun trying to drive in a blizzard!
My thoughts are.... I despise snow!!
I moved here from the Southwest for college... you can bet I am looking forward to my return upon graduation, especially after this winter! I'm just not cut out to be a snowbird!! :)
Snow IS beautiful though. It's just the walking/driving in it part that puts a damper on things!
wait for it Meg... we're supposed to get MORE snow on Tuesday!! Luckily I have had off from work for the last 2 days AND i've gotten paid! Cheer up buttercup... it will be springtime before you know it :-)
seriously, it needs to go away. i'm in pittsburgh and it sucks, i can only imagine how much worse it is where you are. I've been literally "snowed in" for the past 4 days. but on the bright side, SPRING is circling the neighborhood and should be here in 5 weeks. yay.
Im in Michigan and I cant take anymore snow!!!! I seriously am having the winter blues! Its just so depressing!
The sun tried to come out today... Too bad it is going to get SHUT DOWN by another noreaster!!! Really???!!!
I know!!! This is just SO WRONG. I was delighted because it was actually a little warm today, but then I looked at the weather forecast...

Ok ok ok Mother Nature.... we get it..... You're pissed at Philadelphia. Is this enough already? I grew up in PA and this is just CRAZY!!!! Did we all move to Boston? I wanted to go to college there and this is EXACTLY why I didn't.... Any thoughts bees?
