I am sure it wasn't proper etiquette, but we printed labels. (Don't shoot.)
For the invites we'll have a calligrapher.
For the save the dates, we ran them through the computer....
For the invitations, My mum and one of my bridesmaids are really awse at handwriting so we are getting them to do the invites. My handwriting is shocking!
Yes, ettiquite does say that you should handwrite your addresses. But, i wasnt really fussed by this ettiquite. Its just that our envelopes are metallic paper and printing doesnt come up so well!
For STD's labels printed on clear paper. For invitations I am going to print them in a light color depending on our envelope color and then write over it with a fancy pen/marker.
I used Vistaprints "140 address labels for free" deal, oh, about 4 times (to make sure I had enough)! 
Got them in the mail, and I'm really excited with the quality.
I handwrote mine, but I have pretty handwriting (my As in handwriting allllmost made up for my Cs in Math :p) I intend to handwrite the invites too.
STDs will have wraparound labels and Invites... probably handwriting because I have great handwriting and calligraphy! Who knows, though.

We did save the dates by email, so no need to address those.
For the invitations I ran the envelopes through our inkjet printer and printed the addresses directly on them.
I used my own terrible handwriting to address the Save the Dates and I hired a calligrapher to address my invitations.

How did you address your Save the Dates and Invitations?
a. Handwrite the addresses yourself
