I’ve got Word for Vista, and I need to print on two sized envelopes – 6.25×6.25 as the otters, and what they call "4Bar" or 3.625×5.125 and worrd will not allow me the option to print on them. It gives me "cutoms size" option but both of those sizes are too small in one direction or the other, the smallest it will work with is 6.4 and I’m kinda getting irked….
Anyone else have this issue or know what to do or can be done?
On the plus side I ran through one of my stardream envelopes (and even though it printed it crappy…..) It didn’t smudge and there was no streaks so SCORE ONE FOR TEAM SWEENEY! The printer will not get this round! *game face*

I have Word 2003 so it may be slightly different. . . Since Word wouldn’t let me pick the correct envelope size either, I just ended up changing the page set up of a regular page to the 4-bar size. I made one document for the front and one for the back of the envelopes. Try it and see if it works. If not, PM with your email and I can send you my template. Oh, and just fyi, my printer didn’t like it when I fed it too many envelopes at once. So I would "tell" it to print about 10 copies at a time, but feed the envelopes in one by one. Since I was using the manual/custom tray, I had time to manually feed in between each pull. Goodluck!

I did something similar to graciette2. I just adjusted the margins of a regular 8 x 11 to my envelope size to get it to work.

I am actually doing that exact thing right now! You open up a word doc, and go under "page layout". Then you click "page size", and go down to "more paper sizes". Then you can enter the exact size you want to print on once you select "custom size". Hope this helps!
