(Closed) envelope wording to invite a guest

You mean on the outside envelope that the post office will use to deliver it?  I would just say “Sue Jones & Guest” on the envelope.  I’ve seen it done.  Or if it’s a family, “Bill Smith and Family”.  Keep it simple. Laughing

This is what I did for our Save the Dates if it was a long-time couple or they were engaged.

Example:

Ms. Jane Doe

Mr. John Smith

123 Jane’s Address

Jane’s City, State, Zip

I don’t know if this is the correct way to do it or not, but everything got delivered fine.
