MrsPhilly:  Funny you ask! I ordered my Enzoani Dakota gown back in October and am going tomorrow to pick it up!

I range anywhere from a size 2-6 in J. Crew, Banana Republic and a size 28 waist in jeans and I was essentially forced to order a size 10 gown.

Like you it was due to my waist measurement. My hips and bust were equal to a size 2! So I am super nervous I will be swimming in the gown. And on top of it, the Dakota is definitely meant to be fitted around the hips, so I am concerned I will be doing a massive amount of alterations.

My Enzoani dress was the exact same size as my street size!

I’m a street size 2 or 4 (depending on the brand/style) and I orderd my Enzoani (Dabra) in a size 4. It fit PERFECTLY! The only alterations I needed were a bustle and having the boning on the top of the bust removed (I wanted it to end below my bra-line, not continue all the way to the top).

Good luck!

My measurements are 34-27-39 and I fit into a size 6 but that design was not so fitted around the hips. I actually think Enzoani sizes are similar to street sizes. I think a 10 will likely be fine for you, if not a bit big.

Im a rtw size 6 or 8 depending on brand. I tried on a Dakota in a 10, it was a bit too big but they’d had the sample for years so it was stretched out. I ordered my Dakota in a size 10 and it’s PERFECT. no alterations needed. Fits like a glove.

that sounds pretty right on to me. I take 14/16 in street clothes, ordered a 16 in enzoani and it fit like a glove with no alterations.

MrsPhilly:  My Enzoani Diana was a size 8. I am a street size 2 or 4. I’ve got a small waist, but have hips. So at the dress shop, the lady said she would go by the size of the biggest part of my body, which were my hips. When the dress came in, it fit perfect. The only place it was slightly big was the bust area and a seamstress easily took care of that.
