@sweetdee522:  I was calling around about this dress today actually.  One salon told me that the dress has excellent structure and boning and is really flattering on most brides.  She also told me that the dress has one of those across-the-back hook and eye strapless bra type support bands – does that description make sense?

Hopefully that helps- I am going to try it on tomorrow so I will let you know after I see it in person!

@sweetdee522:  Soooo I wasn’t allowed to take photos, and quite honestly the size was WAY smaller than I am, so the pics wouldn’t have done it justice anyways….but this dress is AMAZING.  I’m ordering it for sure – it’s the one!

The shape of the neckline was what sold me – so beautiful and flattering.  I’m a bit “busty” and I was worried that it would show way too much cleavage but it wasn’t bad at all.  The consultant explained that you could shorten the straps and raise it up a bit if needed.  Up close, there are sort of two layers of lace – a “background” softer layer, and then appliqued pieces that added on top.  The appliqued pieces are the ones that you see along the bustline that stick up a little bit and on the straps and are SO lovely.

I found the sash a little overwhelming – it was really big.  Personally, I like it much better with a simpler sash.  They told me that you are not able to order it without the sash so I will probably just sell it.

It does have the internal girdle/strapless bra thingy which hold the dress up nicely.  There is some boning but it ended about the bottom of my ribcage – definitely not as long as some dresses.  The dress does have a couple of layers which held my mushier parts in nicely, compared to some other lace dresses I have tried.  It doesn’t seem to be a particularly difficult dress to take in so if you are worried, order it a bit bigger.

The consultant said that it is possible to order it with your hollow-to-hem measurement to avoid paying for a hem.  The hem would be quite expensive as they would have to remove the lace edging and then reattach it – I suggest ordering it by measurement from the get go!  You would need to have your shoes at the time of ordering.

Lastly, I also found out that you can order extra lace edging from the company to make a matching veil 🙂

I hope that helps!  I am so in love with this dress…

This dress was initailly my top pick.  The bust line is quite low if you’re busty, and a PP said that she was told you can shorten the straps but even doing that i found it a bit too low for me personally.

As for the structure, you can get it fitted tight enough to smooth out a little pooch and wear spanx underneath?

It’s a pricey dress to buy sight unseen but it is gorgeous and quite different from most dresses!
