I bought the Enzoani Fatima dress after I tried on about 30 dresses. But my wedding still isn’t for another year and I’m afraid I’m having buyer’s remorse. I am going to have the neckline altered to a sweetheart and I’m going to reduce the length in the back and have it sewn a little tighter around my thighs. I bought a jeweled belt to go with it.
I’m 5″4 and I just don’t want the dress to swallow me and I didn’t want a trumpet style becuase I didn’t want my knees restricted. I wanted a more fit and flare modified A-line look to compliment my large hips =)
Please send pictures if you have worn this dress to ease my concerns. I don’t think I’ll buy another dress becuase I really don’t want to eat the cost!
THanks for your help!

Ah don’t doubt this dress, it looks beautiful on you.

It’s GORGEOUS and you look stunning in it! I bought my gown 2 years, yes 2 YEARS before our wedding date and I promise you, I haven’t had buyer’s remorse once. In fact, the anxiety and excitement about wearing it has grown and my 1st fitting was so amazing! I do understand about wondering if you made the right choice but just remember that you fell in love with it and chose it for a reason. You will really like other dresses you see over the next year and it’s OK to look. I am all about accessorizing and I LOVE the belt with it. It really adds something to it and kind of makes it more your own. The silhouette is really beautiful and flattering on you.
Hang in there 🙂

This dress is BEAUTIFUL! Please don’t have dress regret!

That dress fits you great and hits you at just the right spot. Obviously the bottom needs to be taken up, but I’m 5.7 and my dress needed to be taken up 2 inches so don’t worry about that.
Its really an amazing dress.

Thank you so much ladies, I have one of those personalities that second guesses every decision so of course this one is a heavy one! I do love it, just hard to remember what it felt like to have it on… and I don’t have great pictures of the back and sides… I love the combination of the different fabrics and the silhouette so far =)
Good luck with all of your dresses!!

I think that dress looks stunning on you!
I’ve ordered the fatima today after trying on several different dresses that just didn’t feel right. When I saw this dress hanging up I really wasn’t sure … until I tried it on and suddenly loved it! I can’t believe I got that feeling that everyone tells me about!
Out of interest did you order this in white or ivory?

I’m seriously, totally and completely in love with your dress. So much that I would love to have it for myself!

Thanks yall! I recently tried the dress on again and my belt came in, i really do love it! Can’t wait for my dress to come in so I can see how it will really fit me….
KateB2B- I got the ivory, I’m pretty sure at least- I got whatever is pictured because they said awhiter shade than that would look too bright on me since i’m kinda pale. The ivory went really well with my skin tone. What shade did you get and do you have a picture of how it looks on you?? Are you getting any alterations?

@danalynny: Great to hear! Did you go with the belt that is in the pictures? I love it. I definately have this dress on my list to try on!

@RR: Yes I put that belt with it because I loved the contrast with the light lace/tulle fabric and the bold jewels on the belt. I didn’t like the one that came with it on me but it is still gorgeous- its that big flower you see on a lot of Enzoani’s designs.
What kind of fit are you going for? this is a perfect in the middle. What others are you trying on? I bet I tried some of them on =)

I’m shorter than you are, and this was my favourite dress at one bridal shop. You’ll feel better once it’s hemmed! Almost all of the dresses I tried on still had a lot of fabric dragging on the floor even when I was standing on those blocks in front of the mirrors!

@danalynny: I share your same views on the belt! I can’t wait to try it on. I’m the same exact height so it was great to see your pictures, you look gorgeous!
Right now on my short list I have the Fatima, Blue by Enzoani Cheyenne – those are my front runners.
I also want to try on the Enzoani Diana (for fun!) and possibly the Isadora Marie by Maggie. Also, love some Pronovias dresses.
