I'm shooting e-photos soon with my huuby-to-be, and wondered if anyone's got a great place they'd like to share....

    Thanks!

Some popular spots include Getty Museum (although their security can be touch and go about letting you photograph there), Third Street Promenade, Walt Disney Concert Hall.

I thought maybe I could help since I am in the area. :) Some locations I have loved shooting at:

    Venice Beach

    Santa Monica Pier

    3rd Street Promenade

    Union Station

    Olivera Street

    Chinatown

    Exposition Park

    UCLA

    USC

    Downtown LA in general

    Old Town Pasadena

I wouldn't suggest the Getty unless you want to be extra sneaky. It really comes down to either the urban or beachy feel depending on what you are going for.  Hope that helps a little!

Hi!  My photographer suggested the Trump National Golf Course in PV, although he's never shot there before.  Has anybody ever shot the e-pics there?

nix Greystone, they have a super strict photography permit policy and they have rangers that will track you down and stop you. Huntington Library will give you a permit for about $600

I recommend Corona Del Mar in Newport Beach, it is gorgeous!  As for the Huntington Library, they charge a site usage fees (and you have to pay for the City fee too), so I would check with them.  I received their proposal and was blown by the fee, so no shooting there for us. If you don't mind driving a little far, Balboa Park in SD is magnificant!  I heard from my photog friend that Downtown Long Beach is picture perfect as well.
