That is exciting news for you, but in the interest of the health of your relationship (now and in the future), I would advise against getting into the habit of snooping in his things. Relationships are founded on trust and if he finds out about this, he might wonder about being able to trust you. Just a few words of caution.
eek! that's so exciting! i recently found a handwritten list of jewelry stores in the area, so i'm feeling the same, i think!! i also agree this is a good time to drop all the engagement/wedding talk with him: i havent mentioned it AT ALL since i know for sure he's on it :)
@neato: I knowwww.. its bad. I've only done it like 4 times in the past few months b/c I've just been so darn curious to see if he was researching ring stuff. I def trust him with my LIFE.. so i gotta keep myself away from his laptop lol. Lips are now zipped! (and clicking fingers are keeping to themselves and my laptop lol).

ohhh how exciting!! When we first talked about getting engaged I wrote my boyfriend a helpful list of online diamond websites (as per his request) and I know he visited them but I wish I knew if he checked them out more recently... part of me NEEDS to know and part of me wants a surprise. Bluenile is soo nice, I bet he is picking out something pretty!!
Wait, is the consensus that snooping on internet history is bad? Because that is totally how I found out I was getting engaged the week it happened... haha YAY for you though!!!!!

@Ms.Teddy- my SO does that too!!! He knows I"m a snoop. He told me today that when he has the ring it's going to my moms until he proposes. So mean!

oh yay! I hope he is thinking about purchasing soon! It's exciting even if he's just looking at least that progress! I know it's going to be heard not to say anything but it will be worth it in the long run.
Sooo exciting! I knew FI had ordered the ring and anxiously waited for him to propose! He knew I knew he had the ring so he kept taking me on romantic dates making me think it was going to happen so by the time it finally happened I was suprised!
fingers crossed for you! this is so exciting, now would be a good time to drop hints about your favourite places and moments together (private or public) this worked with me, i told my FI that my favourite time that i felt the closest to him was when we were alone at dog lake... guess where he proposed? and how many people were around? we were alone at dog lake, it was perfect!

I am a snoop, too! I may, or may not (okay, I totally did), have torn through the house looking for the ring once I knew he had it. I worked with a friend of mine who is an amazing jeweler (check him out: www.williamtravisjewelry.com) to create mine so I know what it looks like from the sketches, etc. I want to see the real thing! Travis sent me a few photos but stopped at the final stages so I could be surprised. The proposal can't come soon enough!
Ahhh! That's so exciting! I am in the same situation as well - EXCEPT HE WAS LOOKING WHILE I WAS HERE! We are in the same room in a lab facing away from each other, but I would peek once in a while to see what he was doing, and he was on Blue Nile looking! AHHHH!

OK soo I decided yesterday that I need to stop talking about ANYTHING wedding related..no subtle hints,nothin'! Therefore, last night was my last night of bringing wedding stuff up...ever (until I get a proposal..lets see if I can do it!). Anyways, Im a horrible snoop (Im pretty sure Ive mentioned that on here a few times), and I went through BF's website history (something I only do if I think he is acting suspicious lol) about 30 min ago... HE WAS ON BLUE NILE!! We have Google Chrome and when u look at the history it will tell you the date, time and how many times the website was clicked on (about 7-8 times!!!) OMG bees, could he be FINALLY working on my ring?!? I dont want to get too excited in case he was just "checking it out" but STILL..that is huuuuge good news!!! Now I just need to keep my mouth shut!!! <3
