Awww, that was sweet! They just exuded happiness. And I have to say, it was refreshing to see that her dress didn't get too dirty lol. For some reason that always makes me kind of sad to see a beautiful wedding dress get ruined. Thanks for sharing!
Very cool! Did you have to get special permission to shoot on the ship? How did you work around all the people visiting? What a fun shoot :)
YAY! Cute! lol. I was expecting you to jump in the water. lol.
We did need special permission to shoot onboard the ship. It's an active museum! But VERY lucky for us, one of the friends of our photogs had a mother who worked security for the ship, and we had to throw her name out A LOT. Half of that video shows us in spaces which are not available to the public. But my DH and I are both Navy, so we knew what we were doing.
We did have a little trouble working around the tourists (even though we started shooting right at opening time). The shot on the brow took an hour because of all the people walking up and down the stairs. In most of the shots there are tourists out of view who were watching us. It was a little embarassing, but I was having fun so I didn't care.
They did both photos and video for our shoot, so there was a lot involved. We spent from 8am to 6pm shooting. My back hurt so bad that night!
Oh my gosh, I feel so silly--I just realized that you posted a video of your personal TTD, and not a great shoot from your videographer's blog. So sorry for the misunderstanding, Mighty Sapphire.
I have to say that you looked absolutely amazing and so at ease in front of the camera (even with tourtists around!). Your shoot was beautiful, and you and your hubby looked like you were having a great time. :)
You guys are like movie stars! I really enjoyed it. You looked so natural and pretty under the camera. And that scenery...breathtaking!
Love it! The ship is so cool, and it must have been so fun to go in the ocean in your wedding dress!
@Garden139: No worries, thanks!
@Lillindy: I actually almost got sucked out when I went in the water! My dress became SO HEAVY when it got wet, and the undertow started to drag me out to sea. My DH grabbed me thank goodness, but I stayed out of the water after that! I also had to hold my train after the dress got wet because the stitching was straining with the weight and I was afraid it would rip off of me. LOL
what a sweet idea! I agree with Mrs. DG that it looks effortless!
you guys looked great
Thank you guys!
@SanDiegoAli: Rock on! We were very excited to include such a big part of our lives in our video.
