epics by a friend : wedding DSC 3589 2 So we are having a friend do our wedding pics (budget reasons) and she wanted to take some practice shots which turned into engagement pictures. Here they are, what do you ladies think?

If you're on a budget, i think it would be nice of her to take your pictures but maybe you should tell her not to angle the camera (i don't know how to explain it better). All the pictures you posted, except for one, are all angled sideways. It makes me tilt my head to the right just to look at it. In my opinion, its nice to have some taken like that but not 50-70% of my pictures.

I like the 2nd to the last picture (the lake shot). And her pictures are clear. Maybe do another practice shoot so she'll get used to the angle thing before the big day. Overall, if I had no budget for a photographer, I would definitely ask a friend or a relative just so I have as many pictures as I can get. And also, a lot of guests take pictures of you on your wedding day, maybe you can also ask them for a copy.
