    my ering band is 2mm

I wanted to get a wedding band with a width of 2.4mm

not sure if its going to look weird cuz the band is thicker?

what are the widths of your rings?

Are you getting just simple bands? does it have diamonds or engraving?

I just went to look at wedding rings yesterday and from what I tried, I wouldn't think it'd look weird.  Especially given the size difference (0.4mm).  My personal preference is to have them be matching sizes, but I don't think it'll look weird.  My e-ring is 2.4mm (although initially requested to be 2mm, they had to make it wider to support the head); and I plan on getting channel-setting eternity rings (yes, two - for stacked look) with equivalent width.

my e-ring width is actually thicker than my wedding band and it doesn't look weird at all. i don't know exact widths, but it is definitely noticeable. from looking at it, it looks like my wedding band is almost half the width of my e-ring. but my rings are pretty simple so they go well together.

I think it'll be alright.  My e-ring is 1.5 mm and my wedding band will be 2 mm.  It's such a tiny difference, it won't matter.

I concur. I think it's such a small difference I wouldn't worry about it. Did you try it on with the e-ring together and see how it looked? And did you like it that way? That's what really matters ;)
