i have 3 weeks to go, and my brain can't think of any more ideas so i need your help please!
we have flat escort cards (no tent) and i have no idea how to display them! the table to display can either be a round 60" table, or a rectangular table. i cannot pin them on something, nor are there ribbons for me to hang them by... i'm afraid if i lay them flat, it will be very difficult for guests to find their card without messing up all the other ones.
I've seen people use blocks of grass and stick the flat cards in them so they stand. I thought it was really clever and did not look tacky at all. Well, it depends on your theme. Hanging would be a great idea...using dry branches in vases.
How about a bed of flowers and stick them in between the crevices of each flower? Carnations are great for that because they are strong and less flimsy. If you want to do this, take a floral foam block and stick the carnations in rows on it. You might need several blocks but they are not that expensive and neither are carnations :)
