Ok ladies- after trying to find a creative and personal touch for my escort "cards" I think I have come up with a solution- but need some advice. I am going for a vintage feel and I have collected skeleton keys since I was a kid. So, I am attaching skeleton keys to a "vintage" card stock tag with some pretty handwriting for the names & table numbers. Skeleton keys are supposed to be good luck (or so according to dear Grandma) so I am trying to come up with a cute but short saying to put on the table so people will know what they represent. - Def NOT something like- " You have the keys to our hearts" - entirely too cheesy!

I'm doing something similar but not actual escort cards. I got a custom made stamp on ebay with our names, a monogram and the date. I'm going to put that on one side of the card and a Bible verse on the other side. Then after antiquing the paper I'm going to attach the key for table favors. On a seperate table I'm going to put up a sign that says "Key to Happiness" where guests write on cards attached to keys their key to a happy marriage. I also made my save-the-dates with actual skeleton keys. It was cute but expensive to mail. I haven't made them yet, but for my table #s, I was going to use the heart and key theme so I've incoporated hearts as well. I was also going to use little skeleton keys on my bouquets and bouts.
