Please share how you are doing your escort cards. we’re having a sit down dinner, so I’m trying to find out the best way to assign which guest will have beef, chicken or a veggie dish. should I put a rhinestone or a stamp or letter of the dish to indicate which option they will be having? what is everyone else doing or what have you bees done?

We will probably do a sticker on the back for each meal. My escort cards are couples (Mr. and Mrs. John Doe) – so if there are two stickers of different colors, it’s 2 different meals – otherwise, they’ll be the same. The waiters will ask, anyway.

I had hand painted escort cards (Etsy) for our rehearsal dinner and they were so pretty! I used the letter in the bottom right corner to indicate the food choice.

I thought I was being very clever thinking of this on my own.. till i realized that if someone in a family of 4 chooses different meals, I won’t know who chose what! It suddenly hit me the other day….! I’m not sure how to decipher that, but Im assuming that as long as there are the same quantities that the family wanted they can trade. I already have the rsvps and the place cards printed up so I can’t change anything at this point! I plan on just writing the word in the space that we left to fill it in on the card.
