Just want to see who else is wearing an Essense dress. I bought my Essense dress a few weeks ago after coincidentally seeing their dresses at a trunk show. I'd never heard of them before buying mine, but then again, I'd never really heard of any wedding dress designers. I'll be wearing the D1108. I tried it on in Oyster with Lilac overlay but will be getting it in all Ivory. The iphone pic shows the dress I tried on, so it's the wrong color but the pic on the model is the Ivory...

I have heard of the designer but haven't personally been to any shop that carries them. However, I do think that, that is a absolutely beautiful dress and you look fantastic in it. It makes your figure look like wow! Congrats and great choice!!!

I'm in lust with this designer! I went with a simple Davids Bridal dress, but if my budget had been more forgiving, I would have loved one of these gowns!
Oooh, mine is D985. I really love it!! After trying on a number of dresses, I found this designer to have beautiful gowns and the price was reasonable for the quality. Only 11 days left for me!

I found mine the shop won't let me take pictures in it, and since I found another store that carries this designer I am putting my deposit down with them instead so here's a picture of the model. I LOVE it! I have tried onb literally 100 dresses maybe more and this has my heart content. It is very figure flattering sexy yet elegant-modern yet vintage...PERFECTO! 
D1098 However I saw on the site that it is available in a lace up back and now I cant help but want that but no one has an actual image of it... So I'm to scared to make that decision without seeing how different it will be without the buttons and a corset back what do you think?

@superplannerbee - I think buttons are way more elegant than corset backs, JMO, so I say leave it as is! Good choice!
@superplannerbee: Personally, I am not a big fan of corset backs. Even if I was, I think the buttons really accentuate the lines of this dress. Love the buttons

Thanks for the feedback! I will leave it be with the buttons. However, I think I will make one slight adjustment and have every few buttons be like one of the image below. I just think that would top it off cause I feel it needs something. You can get these so cheap at http://www.rhinestonejewelry.com compared to Micheals and Joann's.
@mrsblackberry: No prob in Miami it was $1198 but I found it in Fort Lauderdale for $1125 and only $1100 in West Palm. I saved $100 bucks just calling around.
@superplannerbee: Are we still talking about the D1098. I went to a store in Miami and they would not let me take pics. Where did you find the dress for 1198 at. I still looking for another store who carries this dress.

@cmullins:I found it at Bellisma in Coral Gables but they don't let you take pics so I was pissed about that and called around I live in Boca so I wanted something closer to the house anyway. I didn't find the dress to try on again but I ordered it in Boynton Beach it's also available for order in Fort Lauderdale at Zola Keller but few shops have it in the stores. Good Luck! When's your wedding and where?
@superplannerbee: My wedding is in June 18, 2011 at the Coral Gables Congregation Church arcoss from the biltmore. I went to that same store in Coral Gables that wouldn't let you take pics but they want 1999 for it so I'm trying to find a good deal!! :)
@cmullins: $1999 OMG just go to Belissma on miracle mile it's $1198 if you live there I only save $100 by going north and it seems you must live down that way. I live in Boca so that's another reason I shopped around because I didn't want to drive down to Miami for fittings. Boca Couture Bridal doens't have it in the store but has it to order she told be $1125 or Zola Keller in Fort Lauderdale on Broward Blvd. they also said $1125 but their alterations are crazy prices and they don't have it in the store. I got mine at Mariolka's Bridal Boutique in Boynton if you go there mention Kristiana sent you and they will give me $100 off a accessory and you will save 10% I believe. Write me and let me know how it goes.
I actually have a photo of me in the dress! Finally... They discontinued it the very day the shop re-ordered it in my correct length.. another 6 months until it arrives!

triplets :P I just bought D1108 in ivory over ivory with a corset rather than zip closure. I am pumped to try it on with the alterations in April. :)
I have an Essense dress D1041. I got the sample dress the shop had so I saved some money. This is the picture from the website. My dress is ivory and I am going to wear it without the straps.
Mine is D970 in off white, and I actually bought it from preownedweddingdresses.com (it was never worn or altered though, I just got a great deal)! I love love love this brand!

i tried that dress on in lilac over ivory and thought it was gorgeous! i havnt purchased yet since I have quite some time. but i think you are making a fabulous decision.
also, howdy neighbor. 
Essense of Australia 1101 - this is with the strap. I actually wore it w/o the strap for the ceremony and added jewelry!
I purchased D1201. I ordered the belt to match the rest of the dress, so it will all be ivory. I choose to where the strap different than the suggest way because it adds more detail to the back.
Awesome dress! I went to try it on today and I really like it! Not sure if I will get it though because I cannot extend my belly to the maximum capacity when eating, but it IS gorgeous!
I'm looking to buy D1098 in size 8, used. Anyone can help me?
