Oh man if you like essence you are in LUCK! They’re so easy to find on discount wedding dress sites, and tonnes of ladies wear em in Oz or NZ so they’re easy to find on second hand dress websites, not to mention end of sales – I see this line come down to $500-700 all the time!

LOVE those inspiration dresses!

My dress cost around $700. It’s an Essense of Australia #5253- I’m having them add straps (they’ll look different when they’re done! :P). And the back has already been bustled.

Heya,

Here’s a couple of examples: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Clothing/Wedding/Wedding-dresses/Size-12/auction-295850289.htm

The ozzie ebay: ebay.com.au

These guys will price match any other certified retailer and do such great deals – I’m buying my dress through them – they even have a legit store in IL. http://www.bestbridalprices.com/

Forums from Oz might help you find your way – http://forum.weddingcentral.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=93035&p=1418248

Check out Ella as well – it’s Essence’s discount range, often the same/very similar dress under a different name.

Hope you find it!

This is my dress from Essence of Australia, I can’t wait to wear it:

It will be in ivory. This cost £1300.

I bought the D1108.  It’s even prettier in person!  It was around $1800 but I got it for $1500 on a trunk show sale.  Here’s a pic of it on…this is the one I tried on, which is not the color I’ll be getting.  I’ll be getting the dress in all Ivory like the model’s dress from the website.  This is the oyster gown with lilac overlay.  Also pretty, but wouldn’t want to wear lilac for my wedding.

I’ve got Ella 5473 on order and tried on a stack of other Ella gowns as well – they’re beautiful dresses and retail for just under 2k in NZ

Here’s pictures of two I really liked

@iratemmerman:

Generally, the off white is similar to the diamond white. That is what the rep from E of A told me. I purchased my dress in an off white/ diamond white. You can barely tell it isn’t bright white without a bright white dress next to it.

I ADORE essence of australia, but ended up going with something completely different.  Excellent taste if I do say so myself! And I’ve seen them for less thank $1k around online.. you just have to search.
