The post office really is the way to go.  My Save the Dates required 66 cent stamps because of their square shape.  If you know the weight of your invitations as well as the dimensions, you can enter it online for an estimate from USPS: http://postcalc.usps.com/

Also, instead of using two stamps per invite, you can pay at the post office and have them stamp the letter directly in ink, or buy 66 cent stamps.   The two 66 cent stamps designs currently at the post office picture a white wedding cake and a butterfly.

If these designs do not suit your wedding theme, you can order custom postage on http://www.zazzle.com.  They offer a lot of design options.  I had some made with our engagement photos and they cost about $25 per sheet of 20 stamps.
