Whaaa? Use that in a sentence, plz! I always thought it was estimated time of arrival, and haven't ever noticed it in any other context. :p
@scissors: people will post something and then like 5 minutes go back to their post and add something new. It usually goes something like:
blah blah blah blah blah. I love dogs and they think they are fabulous. blah blah blah

I've been around for a while now but I keep coming across "eta" in the threads. At work I use it as an acronym for "estimated time of arrival" and it doesn't quite apply here. What does it stand for in the online community? I googled it and came up with a terrorist organization and estimated time of arrival.
