- Wedding: October 2013
My FI saw something he really liked the other day and I was curious if any of you bees had any experience doing it. My opinion is pretty much anything that gets him involved in the planning process is worth looking into.
We saw a plate at Michaels for about $50 which you draw on as a guestbook, then after the wedding you bake it at 350 degrees and it makes the writing permanent.
Has anyone done this before? Any pros or cons? Does it last? Do you use your plate if you have one, or just put it on display?
Until he saw this, we were going to go with the questionaire style guest book with “describe the bride and groom, give us advice” etc. This is certainly a better keepsake, but I realize people can only sign their names, not write full messages.
