Oh wow, thats terrible! I’m sorry you’re having such a rough time with this. I would defintely try to contact the seller and she what she says, and then continue letting others know what she did so they don’t make the same mistake. I would probably look for another guest book and just let the seller know that you would like a full refund.

@minniemluv:  You should contact Etsy and say that the reason you passed the day mark is because it took so long to get to you!!!

I’d still try to dispute this, even if the deadline’s passed. The reason is valid.

@minniemluv:  WOW! That’s nuts. So far I’ve had good luck with etsy. The worst I’ve had was paying 50 bucks for a bird cage “card box” that turned out to be way cheaper, smaller and not as nice as I thought.

But getting your last name wrong..geeeeeeeeez.

@minniemluv:  Sounds like maybe she just quickly used someone else’s template to finish yours and forgot to change the middle initial on it. That’d be my guess. You’d think she’d have noticed lol

I agree to still try to dispute it, especially since it took longer than it was supposed to get to you. It’s so weird that the name is right on teh wrong and then totally wrong inside. and you seem so nice about the whole things, especially since the front is the wrong design! I’m guessing if she is on vacation b/c she got overwhelmed with a bunch of orders? The womanI ordered my jewelry from (but I ended up wearing something else day of – I still love the jewelry and have worn it since) put her shop on vacation simply to catch up w/ orders. However, the seller I used was very honest about it, and hurried my stuff to me. I hope it ends up working out for you.

@minniemluv:  When they’re not honest, that’s when I have major issues! Just be honest, and we can go from there. I eloped on somewhat short notice, and appreciated sellers who couldn’t meet my deadline (and two of them I’ve purchased things from for other events b/c I appreciated their honesty). And I absolutely agree w/ you on the proof reading!! THat’s a given that they *should*, eek!
