during this whole wedding process, I have been purchasing items off etsy. Everything has been great: the quality, the price and the shipping. except for one purchase. I purchased 2 monogram decals to go on our DIY cornhole boards three weeks ago and it finally arrived today. No big deal, the wedding isn’t for another 2 weeks. However, there was only one decal, not 2. I emailed her asking if she knew what happened to the second one and she said she forgot to send it out, but will send it out next week and it will get to me in about 10 days. not good. The wedding is in 2 weeks and I need it by next week. I explained to her that it was for my wedding in 2 weeks and I would need it sooner and is if there was anyway she could ship it in a few days. She said she could, but it would cost me an extra $20. Wtf?! No! It’s her mistake, she should pay for it!

Sorry for all the jumbled words. Just stressed and frustrated!

I’d be really upset too!!!! Honestly, she should pay for it- it’s her mistake!

@Southerngirl4234: Have you tried telling her, “sorry that’s unnaceptable. I shouldn’t have to pay extra to get something on time when you’re the one that forgot it originally.”

This might help you out:
Also, you could try leaving negative feedback and then offer to retract it if she fixes the order pronto.

That’s ridiculous. You paid for two, she sent one. She should fix her mistake ASAP, not expect you to pay for it!

Are you asking her for faster shipping than normal still it’s her fault. Guarantee bad feedback help her react. Etsy sellers are very dependent on feedback. Sorry this happened

It’s totally her fault, she should be paying!

@Southerngirl4234: That’s crazy – I’m sorry that’s happening. She should absolutely pay for rush shipping to you! I agree with @starcatcher09: regarding leaving negative feedback and offer to remove it if she sends it rush at no cost to you.

It’s her fault, yet you are in a rush and this is probably the last thing you need to deal with at the moment. I’d plunk down the $20 so you can forget about this mess and enjoy the other parts of your wedding preparations. But yeah, sorry to hear about this…
