My FI ordered his wedding band from Etsy (seababe jewelry). It was quite expensive so we were a little worried, but it went great! The seller communicated with us well and the final product is absolutely gorgeous, he loves it!

I buy things from Etsy all the time and I've yet to have a bad experience.
I ended up buying my ring from MoissaniteCo. but I did look at etsy a lot to get ideas and thought of buying from there. Check out the beautiful rings in this shop:

Like this moissanite ring:
Which also can be set with other stones like this sapphire one:

FI ordered my ring from Etsy seller Eidelprecious. She was a breeze to work with! I absolutely LOVE my ring!
I purchased FI's wedding ring from Silver Sparrow Designs. I am SUPER happy with my experience so far. I've found her really communicative and committed to quality.
We ordered the e-ring and wedding band through etsy becuase I wanted something that looked as not traditional as possible. We used KateSzabone and I could not be happier! (the ring is not on my finger yet mind you...still waiting for FI to come home from military) She was incredibly helpful through the entire design process including me not entirely knowing what I wanted and changing my mind several times.
my experience with chain jewelers was not a positive one so I knew that was not the route I wanted to take. There were a few places locally that we looked in to getting something made but they all looked so similar I knew that wasn't what I wanted. I knew I wanted a rose cut (which several jewlers told me was impossible) and I knew I wanted a diamond with visible inclusions (a few actually laughed at me for that one)
This is what we came up with and I am in love! I know this ring is around the boards a ton already, but I just can help staring at it
It should also be noted that thanks to Etsy we were able to come in about 1000$ under our ring budget, a comparable diamond and set up from the one jewler that didn't laugh at me was going to be almost 5k... this one was much less
I ordered my engagement ring from seller WroughtGold on etsy after seeing Mrs Thimble's Blog about his shop. He is located in Canada which was a plus for me. Great to work with and actually had the ring made super fast and shipped it quickly (I had to wait a few months to actually get it though).
My Ring:

@xx_ambyrr_xx: I am so glad to hear you say good things about Wrought Gold. I really liked the styles that he has on Etsy, and actually asked him a couple of weeks ago for his design ideas for my wedding band. He's still working on it (with maple leaves and diamonds) and I'm super excited to see what he comes up with.
I ordered FI's wedding band from Etsy and although it won't ship until the end of the month, the process was very easy and the sellers have been very communicative and easy to work with. I paid through Pay Pal which gave me some peace of mind along with the fact that they had a lot of positive feedback and reviews.

DH and I are in the process of buying ,scratch that, searching for a new engagement ring (lost mine back when we were still engaged over three years ago). Originally, we were thinking diamond, then moissanite, then back to diamond, and now, after personally feeling like I am just not finding something I absolutely must have/love with all my heart, we are up for anything in any color as long as it suits me. Upon my board stalking, I have seen many beautiful rings with many different types of stones. In our area (aka, rural Midwest booneys) there really isn’t much of an option, and they all are really expensive. Being an etsy lover, we’re starting to think of going the etsy route, but he’s a nervous Neil and I’m without doubt a nervous Nelly. Therefore, to anyone who has purchased a ring, or knows someone who has, from etsy, your input would be greatly appreciated (type of ring, photo if possible, experience, etc). Thank you so much!
