I’m still in my first flush of excitement over my engagement ring, so I’ll gush about Miranda Scott (House on Hudson) again :D!

She was great to work with, very transparent about the whole business. I asked to change the materials (from silver to white gold, and from yellow gold to rose) and she didn’t seem to mind me switching back and forth over things, haha. I don’t think I could have had a better experience buying something over the internet, honestly. There are loads of different styles in her shop, but I chose something that suited my very practical tastes 😉

That’s one of the photos she sent me before I made the final payment.

And a terrible quality photo took when it arrived!

My ring is an Etsy ring! My FI bought it from Gene at GNGJewel.

The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s so pretty in real life. He has excellent reviews and you can get pretty much any style ring with whatever stone you want. He just happened to have exactly what I wanted in his store already. (:

A lot of Bees had a great transaction with Eidel Precious, I did not. My ring came last week. After a couple days I noticed what appeared to be a crack in the stone. I had two independent jewelers confirm that it is indeed a crack. E.P. has offered to refund all my money so I sent it back. Now we are on the hunt for a new ring. MY FI does not want to buy online again. I know he is resisting the urge to say “I told you so.” If he does say those words I can firmly say we won’t need and engagement ring. 🙂

My my ring is from Kristin Coffin. She was awesome to work with and very patient with a ton of emails my fiancé sent prior to us purchasing the ring. It came in a beautiful handmade wood box with a nice note. 🙂

@MsPrivateFish:  May I ask, what are the specs on your diamond? The stone looks creamy coloured- in a good way! It’s so beautiful.
