I just wanted to share with you my experience with this etsy seller. She was very quick to respond when making my proofs, but once I paid she did not contact me until my invites were late and I emailed her.
Her responses took days at a time even when she’d say she’d get back to me the next day. She FINALLY mailed my invites three days after they were supposed to arrive (ordered 3/30 and arrived today).
When I went to leave her feedback she deleted my transaction making it impossible for me to leave her negative feedback. It’s very sneaky of her and I’m sure she’s done it before. So please don’t be fooled by her 100% positive feedback.
I’ve posted this on a couple of sites, so I apologize if you keep seeing it repeated, but I don’t want other brides to experience the added stress from her terrible customer service. Wedding planning is stressful enough as it is, we just don’t need that!

I am a seller on Etsy and in order to cancel a transaction Etsy asks us if we have tried to contact the seller and give a reason for the cancellation or the sale (which is usually that someone does not pay) I would contact etsy and explain the situation as you did above. Note that you think it may be to avoid negative feedback. I didn’t know that this was even something they allow and honestly I do not like the idea that some shops who have good feedback should really have bad feedback. As a buyer I depend on the feedback rating as well.

I’ve already contacted Etsy, I’m just waiting on a reply from them.
Thanks for the info, Sarah! I absolutely love Etsy most of the time, it was a shame things didn’t go so well on this one.

Wow, it’s so strange that I came across this. I had this seller design my invites several months back and it was perfect – very prompt design and shipping, always very easy to communicate with – and so we decided we’d ask her to do the programs in the same style. I emailed her the info a week ago, followed up a couple days ago to confirm that she’d received it, and thus far, I haven’t heard anything. We’ll see what happens, I guess… hopefully I’m not up printing out programs at 2am the night before the wedding!

As an etsy seller I am surprised by her actions. That gives all of us on etsy a bad name! I would be fuming if someone did that to me.

I had asked her to design my invites too and after finishing the design she would never respond to my messages. Luckily I hadn’t paid yet!

I had attempted to use this seller for my invites but had silimar issues. I eventually moved on and went with someone else. She never communicated with me past the inital proof of the invite. I also had not paid yet thankfully. If you need a designer you can PM me and I’ll send you the contact info of the gal I ended up using. She was awesome. Good Luck!

I have had similar problems with this seller. When I purchased samples she was very quick with turnaround. I sent her an email to proceed with the order for the actual invitations and never heard back from her again. During that time, there was a notice up on her front page saying she was gone due to illness, so I kind of understood, but a couple of weeks later when the notice was taken down, I tried to email her again and still no response. It was a very disappointing experience and sadly it made me really untrusting of etsy sellers. Fortunately we found one that we loved and I would recommend her to everyone. Very affordable designs for those willing to print their own stuff: http://www.etsy.com/shop/LeMariageDePapier
