Hi lovely Bees! I was hoping some of you might be able to help me out here.
SO and I are beginning to look at engagement rings to get an idea what I like. I recently found a deliciously simple setting, but it has a Euro shank. I’ve never had a ring with a Euro shank and was wondering what those of you who have them think of them.
It felt pretty comfy on, and I liked that it kept the ring from spinning on my finger, but how do they feel long term? Do they get pokey or annoying? Also, would it be weird to set one with a rounded-shank wedding band?
Or, if you chose not to get one, what helped you make the decision?
Thanks in advance 🙂

My ring is a euro shank! I love it! It helps a lot to keep from my ring moving around my finger! It doesn’t bother me at all! Mine is flat on the bottom but the ends are rounded so its not pointy! I am going to go with a shank wedding band as well just bc I personally think it looks better! I always find myself playing with the flat bottom! Its awesome and not many people have seen them before! I get a lot of compliments on my ring! Good luck!!

I have a euro shank on my e-ring. It doesn’t spin, bother me, feel pointy or anything. It’s actually very comfortable. I’ve never understood those cheapy thin bands that get all bent out of shape after a few years of wearing. The shank keeps my diamond right where it is supposed to be. I’ll get a euro wedding band too, but i’ve tried on both round and euro with my e-ring and the comfort level is the same in my opinion.
