I'm not sure he was a "smart" guy to begin with.

Mario Lopez did something similar to his fiance a long time ago - slept with a stripper at his bach party. It was the week before his wedding, and he went through with the wedding, only for his wife to find out two weeks later. She filed for divorce immediately,

I don't know about the pain and suffering, but she definitely should get at least half of the expenses for the wedding back...especially if she had to give back the ring.

She could definitely win the case, probably not for the entire amount, but for whatever she put in financially for the wedding. Why should she not, he did ask her to marry him, and then last minute, cheat on her and back out. It really does make sense that he would owe her something back financially.
