Has anyone ever rented a box at Citizens Bank Park? FI is a HUGE Phillies fan… I am a HUGE Yankees fan- we both love baseball. He wants our rehearsal dinner to be at the ballpark and wants to make a thing of it. Has anyone ever had an event there and rented space or a box?

I didn’t have anything there, but they do have an event space called the Diamond Club that we considered having our reception at (we’re HUGE Phillies nerds/fans) that you can rent out.
We wanted to incorporate the phillies into our wedding weekend, so the Thursday night before we got married, we invited 25 of our friends, especially those coming in from out of town to come to a phillies game with us. We asked that they chip in for their ticket (there is a group rate that I think was 12 or 15 a ticket) but that we would host a big tailgate beforehand and provide all the food and drink. it was so much fun and a great way to kickoff the wedding weekend.

My dad’s company has a box there and I went once. It was really nice and huge. Indoor and outdoor seating. They served cheesesteaks, soft pretzels, the works. And had an open bar. I think it’s a great idea to have the rehearsal dinner there. Go Phillies!

We looked in to having our reception at CBP, in the Diamond Club. The availability during baseball season, which it looks like you would hit the end of it, is very limited though since it depends on the team’s game schedule. Just something to think about if you look into having something there.
