I'm not sure of companies in Connecticut, but I highly rec a lighting designer. it will take your venue to a whole new level!
KLP, I'm definitely looking into that. I saw some pictures from a wedding a friend of a friend went to a while ago and the lighting just totally transformed the venue. It was beautiful! So now I'm on a mission to find an event lighting company/designer in my area. BTW, your photgraphy is wonderful!
Lol, thank you. try googling "your city name lighting design" or "city name event lighting" I'm familiar with all our local companies so I'm honestly not sure of the best phrase to search for one :-)
I've been thinking about it too! I'm down in Fairfield County near Danbury. I know there is one guy who's a DJ but also does lighting... I think he can just do lighting though... Spin Doc DJ I think something like that. He used to DJ my dances in high school but I am thinking of emailing him to do some lighting-- I guess it's called uplighting... found his site! www.spindoctordj.com/uplighting.htm
Habibah, I found a few CT companies that do lighting for a decent price if you're still interested. Spectrum Event Ligting in Stamford, James Daniel Event Lighting in Stamford, Spence Sound and Stage, and New England Light and Sound. I'm probably going to check in with these places after the new year.
I am getting married in SE CT, and every single vendor reccomends Doug from Power Posse. I have never spoken to him, but have only heard good things!
