We're going to be using The Music Man Productions www.tmmpro.com - Ask for Jack. We're photographers and worked with him before so we're having him do the lights/DJ for our wedding next year. I don't know what your budget is but his prices are reasonable and offers discount if you use both services.
posting again - because I am hoping there is more than one recommendation for LA lighting companies!
Thanks, Joyce! i heard about MMP but already have a DJ, so I wasn't sure if they still provide lighting separately! and yes, we are on a budget :) People always say lighting is less expensive than flowers, but I amnot sure if that is the case anymore...

Sorry, there are no users yet.
We just received our first quote for lighting and I am suffering from extreme sticker shock. Is it impossible to find professional, affordable event lighting in LA? We are having an outdoor reception and would love some of those italian bistro-type lights strung up over the tables/dancefloor and maybe some uplighting on a few surrounding trees and pillars. I know people DIY lights, but I am already DIYing flowers and can't even imagine trying string up all of those lights on our own. Thanks for any recommendations you may have!
