wow. my site only gives me 6 hours, but i'm having a late ceremony.

Mine is even shorter.. since my venue does two weddings a time and a morning/evening session, I can't even get into the bridal suite until about 5:45pm. My ceremony starts at 6:30, and reception ends at midnight.
9 hours seems like plenty of time to me. Mine is 8 hours, and have to pay for 1 extra hour. We are renting the space from 3 pm - 12:00 midnight. The chair rental company has to come in at 3pm, and the caterers are coming in at 4:30 pm, the ceremony is staring at 6:00 pm, cocktail hour starts at 6:30 pm, done with reception at 11:00pm, 1 hour for breakdown/cleanup (which is what my caterer said they needed). what is your timeline like?

The place I'm interested in says that I can rent it for 9hrs, which means that my vendors need to be able to load in and out (including catering) within that timeframe. That seems REALLY short. they only gave catering 1hr 1/2 for breakdown time.
What is the average rental time for a cer/rec site?
