So, honestly, nothing really “bad” has happened to me today, but a bunch of little things have added up:
- this afternoon and evening has been full of silly little things going wrong. my insurance got messed up, which means I can’t get my prescription.
- My shower has been draining slow, so I tried to fix it and ended up pouring drano on my pointer finger (my most used finger) and getting a chemical burn.
- My FH was playing with our dogs and the ball bounced into my last soda (I allow myself one soda a day and I absolutely love coca-cola….), which exploded all over my living room (seriously a 20 ft radious of soda, I keep finding it everywhere, including on the laptop I’ve wiped off like five times –how is it possible?
I just wish it were Friday. 🙂 Sorry for the rant!
So, Bees, is anyone else having one-of-those-days?

YES! I feel your pain today.
Our sidewalk is pure ice, so I drove to the store to get salt for it. Asked the guy working where it was, I had to carry this stupid awkward 44lb bag across the entire store only to realize once I got to the register that they had some right there. I was a little sweaty once I got it all the way to my car, rubbed my eyes and it turned out I had some salt residue from touching the bags (some had been pretty beat up). Tried washing it out when I got home but it’s been sore ever since.
THEN, I decide to give in to my butter chicken craving I’ve had all week and used all the money I currently have (I’m broke this month), and order some. I get it, and it’s super spicy.

@kyra.astell: I was glutened yesterday (I have celiacs)
All day today I was in a fog from the gluten and not sleeping last night.
Went to Sephora picked out the wrong shade of foundation, only to notice the mistake when I got home.
My drink order was wrong at starbucks,
I finally felt better and went out to meet a friend for dinner and..
Someone rear ended me, got out of their smoking car, picked up their liscence plate and sped away— so I missed going to dinner with my friend (at a gluten free resturant, Ive been dying to try) and the back of my car is a mess.
* And apparently I cant type! haha Had to edit this 4x! – sorry for any typos

@sillygoat: I’m so glad I’m not alone; I guess misery does love company. I sincerely hope your eye feels better and your spicy senses fade so you can enjoy your what-should-have-been delicious dinner. Most of all, I hope tomorrow is a much better day! Thanks for sharing and making me feel better about having ridiculous days.

@SparkleBee11: they rear-ended you and sped off! Those jerks! I can’t imagine how shitty that feels. I am sorry that was the end to your already rough day! I hope you find relief in knowing others are having a somewhat rough day. I believe in karma and think that sometimes bad things happen to good people in order for the bad person to receive justice. Hopefully things improve. Feel better.
