I work with equity loans at a credit union, and I have a co worker who seems to think she knows everything, when I’m correcting her work 24/7. I don’t know if its the weather here in MN thats making every one cranky, but my patience is almost non existant. If it wasn’t for the fact that I NEED my job, it’s possible I’d hit her.

@Katie918: every. freaking. day.

Every day. I’m supposed to go to one of our other offices a day and a half a week to help this girl out. On the days I go up there to help her, she either doesn’t come to work at all, comes in late or has to leave early. It’s really annoying since I live the furtherest away from that office and I have to adjust my schedule to make sure I can get to my part time job on time.

@Katie918: I had a co-worker once, that I nicknamed Dwight. If you’ve seen the Office you’d know what I mean. Although, her name was Jenine. She was such a tool.

Thankfully I don’t have any co-workers now, but when I did I always wanted to punch this one girl in particular LOL. This was a job that I had in high school, so it was in a grocery store, and this chick would sit there yelling off codes for produce like she was special even though I knew the codes too. Like I don’t need you to tell me just shut up. Finally one day I cracked and said, “I know.” when she said a code, and she says, “suuuure you do.” She was always correcting people, talking about how great she was, etc. She also kept telling me about how she has been proposed to three times. When I asked her what happened, one was a customer who was literally like 70 and probably had dimentia, one was a mentally challenged guy she went to HS with, and another was someone that I forget, but again, not her boyfriend. THOSE AREN’T REAL PROPOSALS! She was with some guy for like a month when she decided they were going to get married. Imagine my satisfaction when they broke up because she was killing his happiness LOL. She would also tell me how even though my SO and I have been together for five years that we would end up breaking up because her boyfriend of five years broke up with her. When he broke up with her he told her that being around her made him want to commit suicide! LOL WTF.
Sorry for the rant, but just thinking about that chick years later makes me want to walk into that store (where she still works) and punch her in the face.

Yes. Either someone on the floor (esp if they start clipping their nails) or an excoworker of mine. Thankfully she left the company a few months ago, so my homicidal urges that had been every day have drizzled down to a slow occasional drip.
The one I used to want to smother every day was fond of constantly talking about herself (as in me: “oh hey [insert bosses name here], how is your kid today? feeling any better?” boss: “Oh yeah, fever is gone, finally! Poor guy, he has the worst luck when it comes to being sick!” her: “Oh I remember when I had foot surgery, it sucked so bad! I was on so many medications!”). Or even better, a diff coworker and I had joined WW to try to lose weight and get healthy. Every single day she (annoying one) would talk about how hard it is to gain weight, how she hated being forced to eat all the time, how much it sucked to have to constantly eat, and why it was the WORST that she was so small. To two women that are/were at least 100 lbs over weight. This was constant. Thinking about what it was like is making my fists twitchy.

Yes, yes, yes! I have one co-worker who drives me INSANE. I know it’s because I don’t like him, but literally every single thing he says or does makes my blood boil.
Mostly, he’s condescending as shit and acts like he knows every single fact about every single subject on the planet. Proving him wrong is one of my most enjoyable daily activities. He also storms into my office area without asking (or without even having a reason to be there) and is CONSTANTLY telling me stories about people I don’t know or care about. UGH.
Today, he actually asked me to go out in the freezing weather to get him soup because his back hurt. Seriously? I’m not your fucking assistant, go get your own damn soup.
I can’t wait to be on vacation next week.

My urge is more to strangle than to punch. But yes, certanily.
