Oh wow, I have a memberon this site since 2007, and the changes were so subtle over time it was hard to notice such a huge change. I miss the days where the blog posts were all on the front page and you didn't have to click read more to get to the rest.
I don't remember the "old" weddingbee, but it sure is interesting to see!
I love this "About the Bees" page!! http://web.archive.org/web/20060820152035/http://www.weddingbee.com/about-the-bees/
That's really interesting. I wonder what you would use it for, other than curiosity?
@highwire: thats really cute! I love that you had to live in NYC to be a bee. And I love Mr Bee and Brotherbee!
@bree72: I was doing a final exam debate about Snyder vs. Phelps (The westboro baptist supreme court case.) I had to find this thing called an "epic" which the WBC wrote, but they took it off their website.
It gave us a leg-up, because our team had a copy of it it and I don't think the other team could find it! :)
I think it's time to update the bride graphic on the top left corner.
darnit, i tried to put facebook in there and it wouldn't show me anything!
This is awesome! I love the '07 version...
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is fascinated. I always feel like these huge, well-decorated websites have always been this way, but Weddingbee started off as a blog! :D It's so cool how websites grow and evolve.
That's so cool! I love that they had an advertisement for The Knot on one of the posts, lol!

There's a cool website that's like an internet "time machine." Idk why, but I decided to see if it had old "snapshots" of Weddingbee.
Here's what it gave me: (click on the dots on the calendar to see what it looked like on those days)

[ETA: ^ Don't click that. lol. Idk why it wont work. Copy and paste the address into your browser.]
I love this site lol. It doesn't have everything, but I've found it very helpful in finding things that I thought were lost forever.
