@lalalyanne:  That’s so great that you’re starting to figure out what you’re good at and what you’d like to do! If you continued on with school, would you have the option of going part-time so you could work while continuing toward the degree?

Go to school part time and get your degree! That way you can work a little bit and make some money at the same time.

You’ll never regret getting a degree, in my opinion – stick with it!

I agree with PPs. Go get your degree especially if it’ll help you move up in the field that you are interested in! Maybe try either part time or online schooling so you can still work full time and gain experience in a related field. Is BSW for social work? If so, remember that you will most likely have to earn your masters now to get into a position in the field.

@lalalyanne:  Honestly, it’s 4 years, compared to the rest of your life. I think you should go ahead and get your degree.

I think part-time sounds like the best option!

I spent 4 years as a PT student (and am finishing up my degree during my pregnancy, since I’m not working), and I worked FT on top of that. It was TOTALLY do-able!

And next semester I get to say I FINALLY have a freaking BA! (Though, let’s be honest. I have 5 classes left… I just say I have a BA now)

@lalalyanne:  O, I see. I totally understand that. I worked all the way through college and now, I’m working while DH is in college. It’s tough but totally worth it!
