We went to a wedding this weekend, and while it was beautiful, and the couple could not have seemed happier, we couldn’t help comparing it to ours. When we got home, I looked through our wedding album and just relived all the joy of our wedding weekend. I know everyone thinks their own wedding is the best, and obviously our guests don’t remember ours as fondly as we do, but I can’t help reliving it and remembering how awesome it was!
Do you all immediately get home from other people’s weddings and rehash how great yours was? Or am I just totally self-absorbed?

We usually end up running through a drive through because we’re starving, then head home, forget whatever favor they had in the back of the car along with a crumpled program, see who saw who doing what, settle up on bets we may have made about various wedding things, laugh about it over some nuggets and french fries and go to bed happy to see another couple in love, married, and finished with the circus of a big wedding.

@Nona99: Haha love it! We usually notice how much more freely available the booze was at our wedding, but again are so happy to see our friends in love that we don’t care. Although I did just look through our album start-to-finish, and then go over facebook pictures from several other memorable events, just because I was feeling nostalgic.
