I think it is so funny how everyone has an opinion about our wedding and what we want to do, even the more mundane details. I was visiting with some extended family over the holiday weekend, and they kept asking questions about the wedding, including some that seemed overly personal (that's a story for another time). One thing they could not get over was that we think want the groom & groomsmen to wear suits as opposed to tuxes. They just went on and on about it as if it were a tragedy of epic proportions. I was surprised by their strong opinions on this kind of a detail. It didn't really bother me and I just changed the subject, but it was weird/funny.
Did anyone surprise you with their strong opinions about details?
