Having a flashback from Phantom of the Opera! The scene where they are underground in his lair. But it is dramatic!
I like the fact it does make you NOTICE them dancing. Sometimes a fabulous first dance can be a bit blah, but this will make them really stand out and seem more romantic!
That is so fairy tale! Its definitely not the mood for our wedding, but with her princess style dress it went perfectly!
I love this! Also, pleasepleaseplease have sparklers for your exit. Your photographer will love you. And spotlights are great, too. :)

I read the title and I thought it read "Everyone should have A smoke at their wedding". I was thinking.. cigars? and then I was like, *gasp* weed?! Then opened it, got more confused, re-read the title, and now all is well.

Ooooh I love it! I went to a wedding this summer that had smoke when the couple was introduced - made for awesome pics too!
It's funny because I have discussed this with my friends before. I LOVE the idea of the smoke/fog, but someone told me it's "so 90's" and outdated... but I still like it! I have seen it done a lot in the past, but i really like the mood it creates. It has to be done properly though, otherwise it can actually ruin your pictures... the smoke has to be done so it is kept low... another thing to consider is, if you're having kids at the wedding, they always try to run and play in it, possibly ruining the first dance....... but with that said, I still love this!
I see them as being about to blast off! lol I'm always the odd man out. I see it as: 3-2-1 "we have ignition". Cool photo ; )
Ahh! This is hilarious! I was trying to think of a unique way to walk down the aisle and suggested a smoke machine and all the the wedding party walk out to "Rock you like a hurricane", because it would be awesome! I even tried to sell it to FI saying he could walk out like one of those UFC guys he likes. No dice, FI immediately said no smoke machines at the wedding. Sometimes he has no vision. :)
