I'm also going to add PP = Previous Poster b/c I just figured that out today. :)
that list doesnt cover any of the crazy baby ones.
i dont really read the baby posts... im not TTC (trying to concieve), as they would say- but also bc I have no idea what the hell is going on. TTC is the only thing I have figured out!
@September29: I'm not TTC either (and won't be for a while!), but the number of abbreviations in the Babies thread titles is overwhelming!
@September29: & @sarahbabs: Agreed! I've figured out TTC, and CM (cervical mucous) and EWCM (egg white CM). That's. About. It!
@Juliepants: ooo mucus. hahah oh and i forgot that I found out BFP= big fat positive. i really don't get it... why just not say "positive" or "PT" for positive test or something? the "big fat" adds a negative connotation if you ask me. I think BFN for big fat negative would make more sense.
@September29: One of the baby ones that took me forever was TWW - Two Week Wait after ovulation to testing time.
And non baby related: TL:DR. Too Long:Didn't Read.
Those ones I had to google.
@September29: Yeah I totally had to google that one. I think they do use BFN as well!
@thursdayschild: I've used TL;DR a bunch online, but never on here because I think I'd get flamed for snarkiness if I ever did, and rightfully so, haha!

I seriously turned my nose up at CM and EWCM tho - and I do contraceptive nursing!! Haha!! Just didn't realise it would be something people would talk about, let alone have an abbreviation for - maybe that's because I'm not TTC!!! ;)

Help a newbee out
There are so many abbreviations on this site and it gets confusing. I thought it would be good to have a thread saying what they are.
When your new to this site (like me) and see STD in a title you do not think of it meaning Save The Date.
These are the only few I know
BM- Bridesmaids
STD- save the date
Fi- Fiance
Please keep adding and posting thank you :) maybe this will help others
