@shrinkgirl: I use whitening trays from my dentist. They are magical! I’m so upset I can’t use them while pregnant.

i’m sure the photos are edited.

i do have white teeth, and people compliment me on them.  but when i put something that is true white next to them or have a white face mask on, they look yellow.

My teeth are pretty white in general. I did use crest white strips before our wedding though.

@shrinkgirl:  Hahaha. I am not sure…my teeth are pretty white as they are. before our wedding we used white strips for about 2 weeks (3 times a week).

I for a fact have seen yellow teeth in pics before.

It’s actually not too hard to edit photos for whiter teeth! And there are a lot of teeth whitening solutions as well!

My teeth are already pretty pearly.  But before the wedding,  I used Crest White Strips and made sure I’d complete the regimen about a month before the big day since the strips made my teeth extra sensitive.

But if you hold up a white sheet of paper next to my teeth for comparison, the teeth don’t look as white.

I brushed/gargled twice a day, but I still thought my teeth looked crappy!

Then I got my pro photos back. He edited ALL of the pictures so my teeth were GORGEOUS! I was so happy!

I used crest 3d white paste and it really worked surprisingly. I couldn’t use it ongoing because I have sensitive teeth, but it does the job. A few weeks before the wedding I used those strips. I had some improvement and probably would have had more but my dang teeth are so sensitive after using them.  Side note, the newer colgate toothpaste for sensitivity is the best thing ever.

It’s impossible for me to whiten my teeth – not only is my enamel thin, but my teeth are insanely sensitive AND a previous dentist put a lot of composite fillings on my front teeth… those don’t lighten.
If I try it, I wind up with spoltchy half-white teeth and a feeling like I just sunk my teeth into ice cream for five minutes straight.
I just don’t bother.

Anyway, my teeth aren’t yellow, but they sure aren’t white!
He didn’t do this for them all (which I liked), but our photog whitened them in a few photos where they were highly visible… which is good, because I have two beaver beacons for front teeth haha.

I use whitestrips about once a year – definitely did before the wedding.  🙂
