@Jen-in-GA:  WEIRD!

When my Step Mom was pregnant, I had a dream that my brother was born and his name was X, (and I work up thinking, man that’s an unfortunate name for a white boy – it’s a name generally used more in other ethnicities) wouldn’t you know when he was born – that’s his middle name.  There’s no way I could have known, they were super hush hush about the name.

@Jen-in-GA:  I had a dream my bestie was preggers and she was! So technically I was the first to know bc she went out and bought a test after my phone call and it was BFP!

Congrats!

Dreams are sooo weird!

Congrats! That is wild.

When we got pregnant, but months before we announced it, my husband’s cousin had a dream that someone in the family was pregnant – the dream wasn’t about me per se, but evidently she has this kind of dream whenever someone in the family is expecting, and DH and I are by far the most obvious candidates . . . it was a little unnerving!

@Jen-in-GA:  Kinda spooky & totally would have caught me off guard. I believe that some people are pretty intuitive about things when it comes to their dreams. I used to dream about meeting my niece before she was born & when she was finally born she looked just like the baby in my dreams. When my friend jen was pregnant, I had a dream about her baby girl, in my dream her baby’s name was Hannah, she had dark hair and a blue outfit on. (I hadn’t talked to jen since my wedding when she was 13w pregnant). I sent her a text one morning to tell her I had a dream about the baby and what her name was etc…and jen was like, “yeah we’re naming her hannah didn’t i tell you that.” – Nope she hadn’t told me… and the first time I met hannah she had dark hair and a blue outfit on. Weird weird weird! Now DH’s grandma believes in the dream world, reading tea leaves, etc and one day when she was talking about how she’s so over being alive I asked her, “don’t you want to stick around to meet your great grandchildren.” and she replied, “i’ve already met them in a past life.” <—THAT freaked me out so I totally get how you are feeling! It’s the beginning of your pregnancy I’m sure you have other people you are planning on sharing the news with before you tell your ex =) You’ve got plenty of time and I wouldn’t rush to tell him anything until you feel you are ready. Congrats to you!!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I literally just had a dream last night that BF’s sister and her BF had a new baby. I have no clue if they’re pregnant…probably not…but how crazy would it be if they were? So weird Undecided

Dreams are weird. For both my pregnancies all my dreams told me I was having boys. I didn’t think I was having boys, I KNEW I was having boys. The ultrasound tech(s) asked me if I wanted to know the sex. I told them both I knew they were going to be boys. My dreams said so.

My mother in law had a dream the night before we told her – it was that she was changing a baby GIRLS diaper, and had a weird feeling that someone she knew was pregnant.

@Jen-in-GA:  That is wild!

When we told our immediate families, my brother goes “I KNEW IT, I just had a dream you were pregnant a couple of days ago” — it would have been the day we got the undeniable BFP on the frer.

So wild how that works sometimes.

The morning after we got our BFP a friend from high school who I don’t talk to often anymore emailed me to say she had a very vivid dream that I was pregnant! It was extraordinary. She’s in Canada and I’m in New Zealand but she was bang on. Gave me chills and shivvers!

I went to the dentist the other day and while I was standing at the window checking in the girl behind the desk looks me dead in the eye and asks “are you pregnant?” (my mom works with her and we are friends so she wasn’t just some stranger being unprofessional) I was so shocked because the only other ones besides DH and I that know are my mom (who was standing right there) and my sister. I just stared at her saying nothing and then starting smiling. She said as soon as I walked into the room all of the hair on her body stood up and she was just “buzzing.” She also told me that it’s a boy. So we will have to see. I really don’t think my mom told her because my moms knows of the issues DH and I have had in the past and she hasn’t even told her husband. We are waiting until our first dr appointment to tell the rest of the family.

My mom woke up very excited one day and said she had dreamt my brother as a baby and she was very happy to dream with her “baby boy” (my brother was 26 at the time) She said it was his same exact face and she was carrying him around etc. Well, we then found out my brother’s wife was pregnant and that baby boy looks JUST like my brother. We showed my uncle a picture of the baby and he said OH THAT’S BROTHER WHEN HE WAS LITTLE, HUH? You can barely tell the difference. My mom was like OOOOH! THAT’S WHO I SAW! lol Congratulations!

@Jen-in-GA:  Since you remarried 3 months ago, he didn’t need to be psychic to guess (or subconsciously think / dream) that you might get pregnant soon. Congratulations!
