I have been trying to hold my hand back from clicking “Book It” on just about every travel site, after seeing pictures, and reading reviews of the Luxury/adults only/all inclusive hotel. It has everything we have been looking for in a honeymoon (tropical, all inclusive, private jacuzzi rooms) and even found a great deal @ 35% off until the end of this month.
There is one holdback….Hurricane season! It is listed as August-October in the Carribbean, with September and October bearing the brunt of the storms.
PLEASE help me out if you have stayed here, especially during these times, and let me know if it is enough to be a deal breaker. Would appreciate any feedback, Thanks!

This is where we went on our honeymoon last October and we absolutely loved it. While we were there, a hurricane came very close and it rained most of one day. The resort put a notice under our door the night before letting us know that we may need to evacuate, but the storm ended up missing us. We ended up having perfect weather the rest of the week. I think it’s worth the risk, especially since you can get a discount for booking during hurricane season. Just make sure you get trip insurance just in case you have to cancel!

Awesome Jodyblair, I am so happy to hear you didn’t have any problems. What a scare to have during your honeymoon, and relief when it only rained on your love parade for one day 🙂
Both my fiance and I fell head over heels (we have learned to go with that feeling), and it truly it is exactly what our dreams are made of. We literally have a list of items we want all inclusive, honeymoon or couple oriented, beautiful suite as well as a location, and a good price. Usually you find a good deal, and the resort will have cons, or you read reviews and are afraid you may not get exactly what you see in pictures.
The reviews on the travel sites, and every listing that came up under Google, (yes I have come a little obsessed) on this resort basically said everyone was blown away, everything was more than they expected, and would recommend it to any and everyone!
I haven’t found any piece of writing to say a trip has been spoiled by going during hurricane season, and am so glad to hear you had a great time. Here’s my sign of relief sighhhh:) What type of room did you decide to go with? We were swooning over the idea of having our own rooftop pool, but if the standard suites have a jacuzzi on the terrace what’s the need?
