It depends on the store, but I have a friend who was able to exchange her new, with tags, never worn dress for a more expensive one. I've heard they won't let you exchange unless it's for something MORE expensive, but sounds like you're safe on that one. Like I said, some stores are sticklers for the all sales final policy, whereas others will let it slide "just this once." Talk to the manager at your store! Good luck. I would also LOVE to see pics of both! ;)
Thank you! I will call the store and talk to the manager!

The other one:
I bought mine a few years back and then got cancer and with all the medical problems it wouldn't fit any longer, I called them and they let me exchange it. But I had not taken my dress home yet, it was still at the store. So I went to the store and ended up getting a totally different dress and just paying the difference. I did this in Lincoln, NE.
I love the one you already have! It is so beautiful! So, if you aren't able to exchange it, you will still look great.
Have you tried on the new one yet? maybe you should try it on to make sure you really like it before you worry so much. I really liked a DB dress I saw online, but then when I tried it on, BLEH.
Thanks ladies! I haven't tried the new one yet. My mom is coming in town in April and I want her to be my final judgement. You're right that I have to see myself in! I hope to make the right decision.
I was able to exchange mine, although the store I bought it from wouldn't let me so I exchanged it at a different one not too far away. So it completely depends on the individual store's policy. My options were either get something more expensive and pay for the difference, or get something less expensive and get a store credit for the difference. I will say though, they told me you can only exchange once so I made sure the new dress was absolutely what I wanted.

Hi ladies,
I really need your help! I bought my wedding dress last month at David's Bridal. My budget for a dress was around $400-$500 and my dress turned out a great deal: on sale for $250. The problem is that after I bought it, I started having doubts on it... The dress is nice and fits great, my MOH loves it, everybody in store said is wonderful...but I realized I'm not in love with it and I saw another dress on their website that I like much better. I feel horrible because the other dress is little bit more expensive($400) and the store said that they don't accept any exchanges or returns. However I saw few posts about people being able to exchange their dresses. Has anyone done it? Where was the store? Please, let me know what did you do? I already spoke to my consultant, which was ver helpful and nice, but she confirmed that they don't take exchanges! I'm very upset because I want to try on the other dress:(( and I hope that I can exchange it for the one I have even if I have to pay the difference.
