wow! Sounds amazing! I love asscher. It is in my top three favorite cuts (which each share a rotating week as favorite hehe). Can't wait to hear how he does it :)
I can't wait to share when he does it!!! I love that Asschers aren't that common. But you know what, the more I wait, the more I change my mind, I think I've had 10 or 12 'this is the ring' moments in the last few months. I just decided tonight to revisit the solitaire because they're timeless - not real trendy and they're very versatile in that by changing your band or adding a wrap or something, you can totally change the look you're going for, especially since the band is always the less expensive of the two rings.
@mattel- I have totally changed too. I used to want a princess solitaire. Then I wanted a 3 stone princess. Then I wanted a princess solitaire. Then I wanted a cushion cut. Then asscher. Then radiant. Oy. lol. I told bf that I kept changing my mind between cushion, asscher, and radiant, and to use his best judgment. This week's favorite is cushion.... but I think I might be influenced by the fact that I think that is what he is getting me (he has mentioned the novo... SWOON). He just needs to give me the ring quick here before I change my mind again! heh
how exciting!!! the asschers and cushions are my faves (ashley judd has an asscher i think)... gosh i think i'd faint if i knew it was coming!!
I don't have time to faint LMBO!!! Too much to do!!! I'm just hoping it's soon because I have gorgeous photo Christmas cards/save the dates mocked up just waiting for the official date so I can order them. :) It just excited me to know that I'm this much closer to calling the man of my dreams my husband :)
OOOOO how exciting!!!! Sometimes you just know when it's "your" ring. When I tried on an emerald cut diamond with baguettes on the sides, I kept going back to that ring. I still cant get it off my mind!

Thanks honeybear - I'm thrilled, and the thing is, I know the second he shows it to me I know it will be the right one... but I just have to say about your name - that's what Manfriend use to call his ex. Ack. LOL. Now he just calls her Godzilla... not so nice, I know, but makes me feel better nonetheless.

@mattel: i have NO idea what i will get other than it'll be blue with diamonds surrounding it (i think) lol!! i wish i'd know exactly what it would be but i guess that's part of the suprise (but that's what the control freak in me keeps telling myself to calm me down) lol
@crebre80 You'll love this, but the pics aren't that clear as I just took them with my cell phone. This is my halo 2.24 ct oval aquamarine. I think there is about .30 in diamonds in the setting. It has a tri-split shank. It is the palest blue which in fluorescent light always looks like the iciest white - I get compliments on it all the time. I know the light aquas aren't worth as much, but they're my personal favorite. Always an idea :)
@mattel- try save as, and there shoudl be a way to choose the file size.

thanks, I love her. She gets heavily complimented. I'm actually thinking of selling her though because I don't want her to be bigger than my e-ring lol. (She's a girl, I've named her Elaine lmbo)

I too have changed my mind over and over. Finally my BF said pick one store and only try on their rings to limit his options. That didn't work either. I finally told him to pick whatever he thinks I will love. I know it will be perfect as will your gorgeous ring.

So I talked to my manfriend tonight... and he let me know that he will have my ring in the next couple weeks. We agreed to a lovely 2 ct Asscher solitaire. Classic. Simple. Drool-worthy. :)
